Anabel sat there holding onto Mike's lifeless body. Tears streamed down her face; she couldn't believe he was dead. She wanted to give up right then and there. Misty tried pulling her away from the body so the police could talk to her, but she just held on.
"They need to talk to you, Anabel," Misty whispered. "Just tell them he came in the house this way." she helping Anabel to her feet.
Anabel wiped the tears away; she wasn't sure what to tell the police. They would believe what happened, or what was about to happen. After she talked to them, they took the body away; Anabel just went into her room and cried.
Morning peaked around; Anabel got up and took a shower before walking out into the living room. Bloodstained on the carpet
