Lily's voice brought me up and out of the deep sleep, her soft whisper dragging me awake.
I opened my eyes to see her smiling at me. Behind her, Josef stood nearby, his arms crossed.
"Hate to bug you, but His Royal Butt Pain has an afternoon meeting." She pointed down at Theo, still lying in my lap. "Figure it'd be nicer for you to wake him up than me and Josef screaming at the top of our lungs."
