"Holy s**t!" Lily yelped, grabbing my arm. "He's proposing to you. Live, on the air."
I couldn't breathe.
"No. No, he's not." I shook my head, unable to take my eyes off the screen. "He's talking like a crazy man, he's got to be delusional, still in grief. Maybe he's having a breakdown, some sort of mental snap." The air around me seemed to be thinning, making it hard to breathe. "Oh, God. This is all my fault."
A woman standing nearby turned to look at us, a frown crossing her face for a split second before shifting into a smile. "You. You're that woman." She pointed up at the screen. "You helped that little girl. I saw the video."
