"Where have you been?" Lily got up from the couch and charged at me, her eyes wide. "I was about to call Josef. I went out into the garden to look for you but..." A small gasp escaped as she stopped and looked at me, taking in my disheveled appearance. "Oh. My. God. You did it."

"Did what?" I swept by her and headed for the bathroom, my stomach sinking.
