The alpha house came into sight. A few gasps escaped the men in the truck. “Caleb, what the hell has happened to the place? It looks almost condemned.” Paint peeled, gutters hung down in a couple places. The grass was a foot high with weeds choking the once colorful flower beds. A broken window on the second floor was held together with duct tape. “It goes with the owner. Should be torn down and burned in hell.” Caleb sounded as if in his own world.
