Fae, you got this. Just go in there, drop the coat and bam. f**k him. I thought to myself.
I stood valiantly in front of Silas' office door, my hand gripping onto the silver handle. I had been standing outside his door for three minutes. I struggled to encourage myself to go through with my bright idea. As soon as we had gotten off the phone, Silas had sent me not only the address. But, also some near pornographic photos attached. He caused the space between my legs to heat in desire. My mind began to course with dirtier ideas to get him hot, and bothered. For some reason, my dumb ass went with the first idea that popped into my head -- which included only a long trench coat.
Now here I stood, wearing nothing but a long coat and some black lace panties.
"Get your ass in there now," I bit out to myself as a form of encouragement. I sighed once more as I shook my body as if I was shaking off the unusual shyness. I turned the handle carefully as I pushed open the door to reveal a row of desks. All were empty with their computers turned off. I furrowed my brow as I eyed the empty room. My feet carried me through some aisles. Silas was nowhere in sight, which quickly curbed my hungry desire. The only explanation was that I had chosen the wrong office. But I triple checked the numbers, unless he had sent me the wrong thing.
"Looking for me?" Silas's whisper filled my ears as his hot breath fanned across the back of my neck. His chest pressed firmly against the top of my back.
"I don't know, are you the one I have to see about a desk?" I quirked my brow as I felt his hands roam across my back. The fabric of my coat offered no coverage from the heat his hand ignited within me. I felt his lips caress the small of my neck as his hand ventured lower to cup my ass.
"That I am," he breathed into my skin, his hands roaming towards the front of my coat. His fingers twiddled with the ends of the wrap that kept it knotted closed.
"Then I guess I am looking for you," I mused, my head leaned back into his shoulder. I felt his warm hand slide between the two flaps of the coat. The heat of his hands warmed the touch of my skin as I heard him let out a soft moan.
"You're completely naked under there?" He questioned before his teeth nipped at my shoulder. His hands running circles along my abdomen, occasionally cupping my breasts. I sighed softly as my hands untangled the wrap of my coat, letting the brown fabric slide to the floor. Within seconds, the cold air nipped at my skin. Silas moaned in appreciation as he turned my body around to face him. I watched as his eyes peered up and down my body in hunger.
"Are you going to stare or do something about it?" I mused, my fingers playing with the hem of my panties as my eyes peered up at him through my lashes.
"Get over that desk now." His demand heated my core as he stepped forward, the back of my knees hitting the desk. I felt his hands slide up my thighs and to my thin panties. He was going agonizingly slow, only touching me in the places that drove me insane.
"Silas, just touch me." I pleaded. I watched as his head bent further down between my thighs. His hot breath fanning over the thin fabric that covered my most private area. His eyes taunted me for a moment; I almost thought he was just teasing me. Before I could question him, he lightly peppered kisses along my most sensitive area. He gave me exactly what I wanted.

"That was the sexiest thing I've ever taken part of," Silas chuckled. I tossed his button-up shirt in his direction. We had spent the last hour and a half going at it all over the office, from the scanner to the desks. We were everywhere and nowhere all at once.
"Well, we can thank well executed rom-coms for that idea," I winked at the man who chuckled at my action. Despite taking me over and over again on every piece of furniture, I wanted more of him. I watched as he bit his lip, his fingers pulling his shirt down swiftly, in one fluid motion. His trousers rested low on his hips, his belt dangling off to the sides. He was handsome even with his disheveled hair and five o'clock shadow.
"How have you been?" His voice had dropped down a few octaves, his eyes peering up at me as his head craned down to get a hold of his zipper. His fingers fiddled with his pants as I slid my coat back on over my shoulders.
"I have been tired, you?" I returned the question as I knotted together my coat, the strings now resting dangling off my waist.
"Working my ass off. I thought I was on vacation, but they have me coming into this dump and doing their finances nearly every day. It's brutal." He groaned. He plopped down into the swivel chair and rummaged through his little drawers. He tossed papers out on top of the desk, along with some into the trash. Everything was a mess.
"Wow, do you not use a filing system? You know, to ensure everything stays in order after you have completed it?" I inquired, my brow raised. I placed my hands firmly on top of the desk, my eyes peering down at him.
"Why should I? This is the worst client I've ever had to take on. They're not even legally considered a client because they have nothing for me to finance." The more and more Silas complained about work, the more agitated he became. His right foot tapped against the decade-old carpet, his hips swaying the chair side to side. He couldn't stop moving, so I assumed the less he moves, the more he thought about it.
"Hey, babe," I cooed, as my fingers found themselves running along his strong jaw. I swiftly slid onto his lap, my legs wrapping on either side of him. I closed my eyes and placed gentle kisses on his cheeks and eyelids, "It's okay. There must be something you haven't thought of. I mean, every problem has a solution, it just has to be found. If you want, since I have a background in taxes, you can pick my brain? I know I may not be as much use as someone who actually is in your field, but I can offer all I got?" I quirked my brow, a small smile playing on my lips. For a moment, he kept his eyes closed. He didn't say a word, didn't move a muscle, he just sat there.
"If we do that, you'll be stuck here all night." He argued.
"And?" I offered a small smile.
"You'd do that?" I nodded swiftly as he tried to defer me.
"Of course, why wouldn't I?" As if we were reading each other's minds and reading each other's body language. We both shared a little smile that held more meaning than we could have imagined.

"Okay, wait. Hold up. So, you're telling me," Silas stopped speaking for a moment and put his pen between his teeth. His hands shuffled through the file of papers to grab a packet. I held up the papers in my hand, the object of our conversation. He spat his pen out onto the desk as he grabbed them out of my hand.
"That this signed agreement was annulled, and the paperwork in your hand is the copy of the annulment. That means – oh f**k – they've been wrongfully paying these f*****g fees!" He exclaimed. If he were a rocket, he would've shot through the roof with all his excitement. His chest vibrated with laughter as he threw his hands into the air.
"You were right, holy s**t, baby girl!" He exclaimed. He jumped in excitement. His arms wrapping around my waist, pulling me into his intoxicating scent. His forehead pressed against mine, allowing his hot breath to fan over my cheeks. I smirked before my tongue poked out to tease his lower lip.
"I'm always right." I mused, wrapping my arms around his neck to tug him closer to me. I swam circles in his chocolate brown eyes as we stood there. They were so mesmerizing as he dipped in closer to my lips, everything about him was glowing. Despite only seeing him a few times, he was always guarded as if he had layers that I had to climb up and down to get to him. But right now, as he stared into my eyes – probably getting as lost as mine as I was into his – he was all alone with no walls. Being more himself, that I'm sure he realized. Maybe it was his lack of sleep and constant stress that made him too tired to hide behind his countless walls.
"What are you looking at?" He whispered, the corners of his lips raising into a smile.
"Just those eyes, but I am not the only one staring. What are you staring at?" I smirked, my eyelashes batting up at him.
"Just those eyes." He mirrored me, his fingers encasing me tighter.
I felt the moment grow more endearing. I wanted more than anything to lean in and press my lips against his. But we just had s*x, and I didn't want to seem like that's all I wanted. He moved his lips a little closer, opening for a moment. As I felt his hot breath fan on my lips, I felt the surge of energy rush through me and I pushed forward, like a f*****g i***t.
As I leaned forward, my nose slammed into his jaw. I groaned loudly, my hand shooting up to hold my nose. I watched as he leaned his head backwards with a small chuckle. His hand released me from his hold to latch onto his aching jaw.
"Shit." I giggled as I rubbed circles around the bridge of my nose.
"Well, that's definitely a first." He mused, stepping back to seat himself onto the desk behind him.
"Of course, it is," I replied, mentally kicking myself. He peered at me for a moment, his eyes scanning my body. Even though my body was completely covered, as he stared up and down, I felt my cheeks grow warm, "Stop staring." I crossed my arms over my chest. He had seen me naked plenty of times before. Tonight included.
"I can't do that unless you're not around." He mused, his brow rising. I rolled my eyes at his overly cheesy comment.
"Then I guess that's my cue to go." I looked around the office, trying to find a clock to tell me the time. I failed to find any semblance of the time, so I directed my eyes onto his again. I smiled softly as I slid my hands into my pockets.
"The only way you can leave is if you promise I'll see you again," he mused. His eyes burned into me as his promise pressed into my mind. He hadn't attempted to contact me since we last saw each other, yet here he was supplying me with an ultimatum.
"Yeah?" I raised a brow.
"Oh yeah," he replied, the corners of his lips curled up into a smirk. I bit my lower lip and nodded softly as the start of a reply began to leave my lips.
"You can. I'll be a bit busier, because I have more s**t to do for my sister's wedding." I answered. I groaned internally at the thought of helping the bane of my existence. I eyed Silas as his shoulders noticeably tensed. His eyes peered away from me, seemingly looking at the wall behind me.
"Are you ok-" I started.
"Yeah, I'm going to be busy with work anyways. But uh, it was good seeing you, I should head home anyways." He interrupted me intensely, all his words rushed out to form a near incoherent sentence. I furrowed my brow as I stepped forward, trying to place a hand on his shoulder. I watched him step back and grab his papers. He was trying to hide the fact that he was trying to avoid me in nearly any way possible: gaze and physical.
"Thanks for the help, Farrah." With that, the man stalked off to put his belongings together, not even attempting to spare me a glance.
"Okay." I hesitated for a moment, my eyes following him. He shoved papers into Manila folders and pens into pockets. He was rushing to get away. I wasn't sure why; I didn't think I had done anything wrong. Maybe he thought I was bringing a date? A part of me wanted to make sure he knew I wasn't. The other half wanted him to be jealous.
I waited for a moment, waiting for him to say something else.
He never did. He didn't even try.
There was something about the way he didn't make eye contact with me after that. It was strange, almost as if he were feeling guilty about something. Of course, there was nothing for him to be guilty about. He had been nothing but sweet and kind from the moment we met - aside from bouts of not speaking.
I turned slightly on my heel, looking at the opposite direction.
"I guess that's all then?" I mused, raising a brow as I tilted my head to look at him. He glanced discreetly at me, his jaw tense, while his lips were pursed together.
"I suppose," he replied, before looking back down at his papers as he filed them accordingly. While I wasn't too bothered with his words, or lack thereof, it still made me flinch slightly. My body acting as if he had cut me with a knife.
