When we went inside the restaurant, it took me a while to notice the kind of scene that was in front of me. I was so focused on Catherine and what my senses were telling me about her. I was really worried, since I had never seen my beloved like this before. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s the first time I can smell her anxiety for as long as I have known her. It’s like she always had these walls around her and now, that they are crumbling, my vampire senses are swamped with her emotions. However, I couldn’t avoid a self-satisfied smile. Another good sign that she is my Soulmate. With her letting some of her Supernatural nature out, my soul is connecting with hers. I know that’s it. It has to be it.
