I hear behind me, Stefano closing the door of his living room and I take a breath, relieved. It was an awfully long night and now that Kane is safe I can breathe again.
I finally started to relax but then I heard Stefano’s footsteps getting closer and I remembered that I owed him some answers. Also, we needed to talk about our soulmate status. I couldn’t admit to him that our relationship was never foretold. I had to choose him for us to become soulmates.
