I rushed to the hallway as I tried to pinpoint the doctor's office. After a series of turns, I sighed in relief. This place was very familiar to what I remember. The second outermost door from the left is where they must be. Without any minute to waste, I walked faster. When I almost got close, the door swung open. Aunt Heather and her husband, saw me the moment they were out of the room. “Nikky, you're here!" Her face lit up, meeting me in her arms. “We just finished." Done already? Am not that late, am I? Probably seeing the words I'm thinking written on my face, Uncle Ian spoke. "The consultation was short so we're done early." “Really...? Too bad. I was looking forward to joining you this time." I moped. I buried my face on Aunt Heather's neck. I felt a hand patting my head.
