I had decided to go and talk to Nana after having breakfast. She was my friend and she had been true, regardless of my lack of involvement in her life and helping her move ahead. Alpha was feeding Grayson and I was done eating.
“I’ll take food for her.” I announced and served items on a plate. Jun helped me by adding more of her favorites. I added two muffins that Alpha had prepared and a small piece from the cake Jun had prepared. I knew she’d kill for the cake because she loved it.
I knocked on the door and there was no response. I pushed the door open and Nana was sitting on the bed and I could see her crying. I knew if I approached directly, she’d throw tantrums.
“Ah!” I squeaked, scrunching my face and she quickly dashed to me.
