Chapter 2 Defeat the Phony

After slapping Yamilet, Nyasia left indifferently.

Yamilet was stunned for a second. After she came back to her senses, she immediately called Deegan.

"Deegan, I ... I was slapped and pushed to the ground. I'm so scared!" she said, sobbing.

Deegan's magnetic and deep charming voice came from the other end of the line. He said, "What happened? Are you alright? Does your lower abdomen hurt?"

She took a deep breath and calmed down.

Nyasia paused, held the black coffee in her hands, and took another big gulp.

Jazlynn thought, Nyasia has all these distinct hickeys on her neck, and she has that look of a woman who has just had s*x. These are all proof that Deegan conquered her thoroughly last night.

Nyasia didn't know those filthy thoughts in Jazlynn's mind. She finished the remaining half cup of black coffee in one gulp.

She smiled bitterly, yet her tone was as firm. She said, "Jazlynn, stop persuading me. I am determined to divorce him."

Nyasia thought, Deegan was abroad for half a year. It wasn't a business trip at all.

He was away, enjoying his life with Yamilet.

He only married me to please Renesmee, who was very ill.

Now that Renesmee is much better, it makes perfect sense that he wants to dump me, his wife.

I don't want to be some rich family's daughter-in-law who has no freedom at all, and I'm not used to living in the Orozco's home. Although Renesmee has already given me enough freedom, still, I don't want to stay in this ridiculous marriage anymore.

Countless rich young ladies are dreaming of being you. Are you sure you want a divorce? Putting feelings aside, are you sure you are willing to give away his perfect genes?"

"Wise people never fall in love, and only those stupid will repeat their mistakes. I can let go of him, but not his genes. Before I divorce him, I must make sure that I am pregnant with his baby!"
