Lucy opened the note Alice had handed her before she and Diane had left for the barbeque at Sam's. She read it and smiled, at least someone was still on her side. She pocketed the note and after making sure everything was clean and switched off, she locked up the coffee house, walked to her car and got in, took out her phone, and called Mandy. She smiled when the conversation went as she expected, she knew Mandy would do anything for and with her. She started her car and drove to Mandy's house.
