Diane stood in her and Alice's kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil, she knew Alice was worried about Lucy and had left her alone to make the call to her. Alice was one of the few people she knew who could take on every person around her and still care deeply for each one, she'd raised Amber, Taylor, and Lucy, when their parents had left them, Taylor was the closest thing she had to her own child, as she'd raised her from birth. Diane worried what would happen when Taylor finally came into her powers, not knowing what they might be, witch or wolf. Would she still be the same Taylor they know and love?
She filled their cups with the boiling water and after adding the milk to their cups, walked outside to where Alice sat on the porch. She handed Alice her cup and sat down next to her.
