Taylor sat on her front porch, waiting for Mya. She'd made them french toast and had it in the oven to stay warm. But she wanted to be out here, where she could see Mya coming. Something had obviously upset her and Taylor hoped it wasn't their situation. Although, she had to admit it probably was. She sighed and took a sip of her coffee. Why did everything have to be so complicated? She smiled when she heard Mya's bike in the distance. She missed their rides, some mornings Mya would just show up, helmet in hand, and tell her to get dressed. It'd been months since she'd done that.
