Lilly stopped at the first dead end, slumping her hand on her knees for the third time. A part of her was at ease that at least the house had an end but on the other part she was completely lost.
What exactly was she thinking wandering alone in a lion's den Like she knew every corner like the back of her palm.
She couldn't deny it, the house was large–massive in fact, every corner had corners and turns ending at completely different corridors. The mansion had beautiful collage, dark malicious walk paintings and skull frames at almost every corner.
The halls were endless but not until she stopped at one. The hallway was the only one on its floor with just one door at the left corner.
