Zephyr's family returned to their different corners of the world, and the mansion was back to its usual quietness. It was peaceful, but still too quiet. I had everything I could ever want here and yet, I felt restless. Aimless. Bored. Lonely. Sometimes I thought about going to college. Other times, I didn't. What I needed was something of my own. A job. A purpose. Something to give my days meaning. After a lazy afternoon spent swimming in the pool and stretching under the sun, I decided I'd had enough of doing nothing.
