Chapter 03

As Shreya was boarding the tram, a guy got on as well. Shreya and that guy were standing near the door. Shreya took out a magazine from her bag and started reading. Two seconds later, the moment she looked toward the guy, she didn't even know that he was already looking at her. Shreya felt a bit uncomfortable. However, when Shreya looked up, she realized she had made eye contact with him.

Then, when the tram stopped, many passengers crowded in. Right at that moment, the guy pinned Shreya against the tram door. Shreya said, "Who are you? What kind of rudeness is this? Who are you calling rude?"

The guy replied, "I am not being rude at all. I have a girlfriend, and my girlfriend is well-mannered enough. I have nothing better to do than to come to you."

After that, the tram gave such a hard jolt that Shreya was about to slip away from the door, but at that very instant, the guy grabbed her waist, pulled her toward himself, pinned her against the wall, and said, "Now you just stand quietly. I didn't hold you like this for no reason."

Shreya said, "Sorry, and thank you for saving me."

The guy asked, "What is the sorry for?"

Shreya said, "I said so many things to you? I apologize for that."

The guy said, "You throw a lot of tantrums (act too dramatic)."

Shocked, Shreya said, "What did you say? I act dramatically? What do you think you are doing? Aren't you ashamed of behaving inappropriately with another girl despite having a girlfriend?"

As soon as the tram stopped, the very moment it halted, Shreya struck the guy's foot very hard with the edge of her heels. The guy groaned in pain, and Shreya walked away with a smirk. The guy got off as well.

The guy—meaning the ML (Male Lead)—reached his destination and saw his girlfriend kissing another guy. Shocked by all this, the ML said, "Shreya, what are you doing?"

The moment his girlfriend saw that he had witnessed everything, she was completely speechless. The guy whom his girlfriend was kissing said, "Please forgive me, Sreeparna. The person you know as Shreya is actually my girlfriend, Sreeparna. She only told you she was your Shreya, which isn't true."

He was about to say a lot more, but the ML silenced him and walked away. Sreeparna grabbed his feet and said, "I am Sherya, everything he was saying is a lie. I am not any Sreeparna. I am Sherya—Sherya Jain. Please believe me."

Pushing her away, the ML said, "I despise characterless girls like you."

The ML then walks away.

Meanwhile, Shreya reaches her office destination. Walking inside, she asks, "Could you please tell me where the interview cabin is?"

A female security guard said, "Go straight, take the elevator, and go straight ahead."

Thanking her, Shreya leaves. She waits, and when her name is called, she goes inside. Entering, Shreya sees three people sitting there, and they introduce themselves: sitting on the left was the boss's right-hand man, in the middle was the boss's manager, and on the right was the boss's left-hand man. Shreya gives her introduction. She passes the interview.

The manager says, "Miss Jain, come, let us show you around our company."

The manager and Shreya walk out. The manager introduces her to everyone, then leaves after saying, "Miss Jain, you must follow whatever is on that board very carefully. If you make even the slightest mistake, the boss will not spare you, because the boss is very strict and serious. You can clear up any questions you have today. Right after the lunch break, you will get straight to work."

Shreya says, "Okay, manager sir. You don't need to worry at all."

The manager leaves.
