"Kill her" Victor Roth said in a cold, angry voice. His mean eyes looked straight at Kieran across the big stone room. Everyone went quiet. Tension was evident in the room's atmosphere.
"She's human. She broke our agreement. You promised to marry my daughter," Victor said loudly. His voice echoed in the old stone walls. "But instead, you're hiding her (Elena)."
"She's not just human," Kieran said, trying to be brave even though he was scared. "She's my mate."
"Then she has to die," Victor said with hate in his voice. Selene was standing close to her father with her arms crossed around her chest and a mean smile on her face.
"I warned you," she said in a sweet voice that sounded fake. "You could have had peace. But now there will be war."
