They were going to kill her. Jess bit back her whimper, not wanting to give the men who held her, her arms twisted painfully behind her back, the satisfaction. Dropping her head, she let her hair cover her face and squeezed her eyes shut tightly. She’d been dragged into the main hall of the villa a few minutes ago to find it packed with warriors. The furniture had been cleared to the side to make room for them all to stand in lines, like they were in church.
