EPILOGUE
A year later…
Friday evening, Kate pulled into the driveway, ready to put the week behind her. Oh, it had gone well. They had a full roster of clients, so she planned on hiring additional people so they could take on more work. But now, she wanted to forget about everything except Jared and Cassidy. For the next three days—Mondays were an official day off for her—she would focus only on her family and herself.
She removed the keys from the ignition, grabbed her laptop bag, and slid from the car. No lights were on downstairs, but that wasn’t surprising. Since they remodeled—taking the house down to its studs and foundation—Jared and Cassidy spent more time upstairs in the bonus room, aka the playroom.
