This episode begins at the Assassin Squad's underground headquarters.
The Core Fragment sits inside a containment chamber.
Everyone is watching it.
Eijin stands in front of the glass, still thinking about the vision of his father.
Kairo tells the team that the fragment is extremely dangerous.
It contains energy connected to the mysterious Core.
But there is one strange thing.
The fragment only reacted when Eijin touched it.

THE EXPERIMENT
Kairo decides to test Eijin's connection to the fragment.
Eijin places his hand near the containment chamber.
The fragment begins glowing.
Suddenly, Eijin's bubbles appear around his body without him creating them.
Everyone steps back.
The bubbles move on their own.
Eijin tries to stop them.
They disappear.
Kairo realizes something important.
"Your Art is reacting to the Core."
Eijin asks what that means.
Kairo explains that Arts normally come from within a person's body.
But Eijin's ability appears to be connected to the same energy that powers the Core.
Nobody knows why.

THE TRAINING
Kairo begins training Eijin differently.
Instead of making bigger bubbles, Eijin must learn to control their:
- Size
- Speed
- Pressure
- Movement
- Density
Eijin struggles.
Every time he increases the pressure, the bubble explodes too early.
After several attempts, he finally creates a tiny bubble with incredible density.
Kairo tells him:
"Don't think of it as a bubble."
"Think of it as a container."
Eijin suddenly understands.
A bubble isn't simply something that floats.
It can contain energy.

THE ATTACK
Before the training can continue, alarms suddenly activate.
Someone has broken into the headquarters.
The squad prepares for battle.
A group of Black Order assassins attacks the facility.
But they aren't ordinary soldiers.
They are searching specifically for the Core Fragment.
The squad fights back.
Eijin notices one assassin heading toward the containment chamber.
He creates a bubble around the man's hand.
The assassin tries to escape.
Eijin tightens the bubble.
The man's movement is restricted.
Eijin has developed a new technique:
BUBBLE LOCK
A bubble that temporarily traps part of an opponent's body.

THE MYSTERIOUS ASSASSIN
The other assassins suddenly stop fighting.
Someone walks through the doorway.
A tall figure wearing a dark coat enters.
The squad immediately becomes nervous.
Kairo recognizes him.
"Veyron."
Veyron looks at Eijin.
"You've grown stronger already."
Eijin prepares his bubbles.
Veyron tells him that the Core Fragment doesn't belong to him.
Eijin refuses to give it up.
Veyron attacks.
Eijin barely avoids the first strike.
He creates multiple Bubble Locks.
Veyron destroys them.
Eijin launches compressed bubbles.
Veyron dodges them.
The fight becomes faster.
Eijin realizes he can't defeat Veyron through raw power.
So he changes his strategy.
He surrounds Veyron with several bubbles.
Veyron breaks through them.
But Eijin has already prepared one final bubble behind him.
Veyron turns—
BOOM!
The compressed bubble knocks him backward.
For the first time, Eijin actually manages to hurt him.
Veyron smiles.
"Now that's interesting."

THE FRAGMENT AWAKENS
Suddenly, the Core Fragment begins glowing violently.
Every bubble around Eijin turns golden for a moment.
Eijin feels an enormous surge of energy.
He reaches toward the fragment.
A strange symbol appears in his palm.
Veyron immediately stops smiling.
"Impossible..."
Kairo asks what he saw.
Veyron says:
"The Godoin Mark."
He retreats with the remaining assassins.

THE TRUTH
After the battle, Kairo explains that the Godoin Mark was believed to have disappeared decades ago.
It was said to belong to the original guardians of the Core.
Eijin asks:
"So what does that make me?"
Kairo looks at him.
"I don't know."
The episode ends with Eijin standing alone.
He looks at the strange symbol glowing faintly on his palm.
A tiny bubble forms above it.
Inside the bubble is a reflection of his father.
Eijin whispers:
"Dad..."
The bubble disappears.
