Episode 7: THE CORE GATE

This episode begins with Eijin dreaming.
He is standing inside a completely white space.
There are no walls.
No floor.
No sky.
Only silence.
In front of him stands his father.
Eijin runs toward him.
"Dad!"
His father turns around.
But his face is hidden in darkness.
"Eijin, if you're seeing this, the Core Gate has awakened."
Eijin asks what the Core Gate is.
His father answers:
"It's not a place."
He pauses.
"It's a doorway."
Suddenly, the entire world around Eijin begins breaking apart.
He wakes up.

THE MESSAGE
Eijin tells Kairo about the dream.
Kairo takes him back to the restricted archive.
They discover an old Godoin document describing the Core Gate.
According to the document, the Core Gate is a supernatural gateway connected to the source of all Arts.
But there is a warning:
"The gate must never be opened by force."
If the gate is opened incorrectly, the energy inside could become uncontrollable.
Eijin realizes the Black Order isn't simply looking for the Core.
They're trying to open the Core Gate.

A NEW THREAT
The squad receives an emergency transmission.
A Black Order operation has begun in a nearby city.
Their target is an ancient underground chamber.
Kairo immediately recognizes the location.
It's believed to be one of the entrances to the Core Gate.
The squad prepares to move.
Before they leave, Kairo tells Eijin:
"This isn't about revenge anymore."
Eijin looks at him.
"It is for me."
Kairo responds:
"Then don't let revenge decide what kind of person you become."

THE UNDERGROUND CHAMBER
The squad enters the underground ruins.
The walls are covered with ancient symbols.
At the center is a giant circular doorway.
It looks almost identical to the Godoin Mark.
Eijin approaches it.
The mark on his palm begins glowing.
The door responds.
BOOM!
The entire chamber shakes.
A small section of the doorway opens.
The squad looks inside.
There is nothing behind it.
Just darkness.
Then a voice comes from within.
"Godoin..."
Eijin freezes.
The voice sounds like his father.

THE BLACK ORDER ARRIVES
Before Eijin can investigate, the Black Order attacks.
Veyron leads them.
The squad fights back.
Raven battles one of the Black Order commanders.
Jax takes on several soldiers.
Mira protects the entrance.
Ren tries to reach the Core Gate.
Eijin confronts Veyron.
Veyron tells him:
"Your father opened this door once."
Eijin is shocked.
"You're lying."
Veyron responds:
"Ask yourself why your father disappeared."

EIJIN'S CHOICE
Veyron attacks.
Eijin fights back with his new Bubble techniques.
He creates several Bubble Locks.
Veyron destroys them.
Eijin creates a Bubble Shield.
Veyron breaks through.
Eijin falls.
Veyron prepares to finish the fight.
Suddenly, Jax jumps between them.
Veyron knocks him aside.
Eijin sees his teammate lying on the ground.
He becomes furious.
His Bubble Art begins becoming unstable.
The air around him fills with bubbles.
Kairo shouts:
"Eijin! Control yourself!"
Eijin remembers his father's warning.
He takes a breath.
The bubbles stop moving.
Instead of attacking Veyron, Eijin surrounds his injured teammate with a protective bubble.
The bubble shields Jax from further attacks.
Eijin has made his choice.
He chooses to protect his friends.

THE CORE GATE OPENS
The Godoin Mark suddenly shines brighter.
The Core Gate begins opening.
Everyone stops fighting.
A massive wave of energy erupts from the doorway.
For a moment, everyone sees strange visions.
The squad sees their deepest fears.
Eijin sees his father.
His father is standing on the other side of the gate.
This time, Eijin can clearly hear him.
"Don't open it, Eijin."
The vision disappears.
The gate closes.
Veyron looks terrified.
"The gate rejected him."
Kairo asks:
"Who?"
Veyron looks toward the darkness.
"The one who wants to become the new Core."

FINAL SCENE
The Black Order retreats.
The squad escapes the collapsing ruins.
Eijin looks back at the sealed gate.
He now knows his father was involved with the Core Gate.
But he still doesn't know why.
The scene cuts to a mysterious man sitting inside a massive dark chamber.
A Black Order soldier kneels before him.
"The Core Gate has rejected the boy."
The man smiles.
"Then we'll make him open it himself."
The camera moves closer.
His face remains hidden.
