Episode 8: THE HUNT BEGINS

Thie episode begins immediately after the events at the Core Gate.
Eijin and the Assassin Squad return to their underground headquarters.
Everyone is exhausted.
Kairo examines the information they recovered from the ruins.
One thing is clear:
The Black Order now knows that Eijin can activate the Core Gate.
That makes him their most important target.

THE BOUNTY
Across the city, a message suddenly appears on hidden networks used by assassins.
A picture of Eijin appears on the screen.
Underneath it are three words:
TARGET: EIJIN GODOIN
A large reward is offered for his capture.
Within hours, assassins from different factions begin searching for him.
Kairo realizes something terrifying.
The Black Order isn't the only organization hunting Eijin anymore.
Everyone wants him.

LEAVING THE HEADQUARTERS
Kairo decides the underground base is no longer safe.
The squad must move to another location.
They travel through the city disguised as ordinary civilians.
Eijin notices people watching them.
A man across the street.
A woman standing outside a shop.
Someone following them from a rooftop.
Eijin realizes the hunt has already begun.
Suddenly—
BOOM!
An attack destroys part of the street.
The squad separates.

THE ASSASSIN HUNTERS
Three different assassins appear.
Each has a completely different fighting style.
One controls metal.
One creates blades from energy.
The third can temporarily disappear from sight.
The squad splits up to fight them.
Eijin is chased through an alley by the invisible assassin.
He can't see his opponent.
He closes his eyes.
Instead of relying on sight, Eijin spreads dozens of tiny bubbles throughout the alley.
Whenever the assassin moves, the bubbles are disturbed.
Eijin detects the movement.
"Found you."
He launches a compressed bubble.
The assassin is forced out of hiding.
Eijin traps him using Bubble Lock.

EIJIN'S NEW TECHNIQUE
The remaining assassin attacks Eijin.
Eijin creates a Bubble Shield.
The attack hits the shield.
Instead of breaking, the shield absorbs the force.
Eijin realizes he can store energy inside his bubbles.
He releases it in another direction.
The attacker is thrown backward.
Kairo sees what happened.
"He's learning to redirect energy."
This becomes Eijin's newest technique:
BOUNCE BUBBLE
A defensive bubble that can absorb and redirect an incoming attack.

THE MYSTERIOUS GIRL
After escaping the hunters, the squad reaches an abandoned train station.
There they encounter a mysterious girl named Liora.
She claims to know about the Godoin family.
Eijin immediately becomes suspicious.
She tells him that his father once saved her life.
Eijin asks:
"Where is my father?"
Liora hesitates.
"I don't know."
But she knows something else.
She tells Eijin that his father was searching for something called the First Core.
According to Liora, the Core Fragment Eijin possesses is only one piece of a much larger object.
There are seven Core Fragments.
If all seven are brought together, they can unlock the Core Gate completely.

THE TRAP
Before Liora can explain more, the lights in the station turn off.
Kairo immediately realizes they've been followed.
The doors lock.
Hundreds of Black Order soldiers surround the station.
Veyron appears on the upper platform.
But this time, he isn't alone.
Standing beside him is a mysterious masked figure.
Veyron says:
"Eijin Godoin, you're coming with us."
Eijin creates several bubbles.
Kairo steps forward.
"You'll have to get through all of us first."
The squad prepares for battle.

THE FINAL SCENE
Just before the battle begins, Eijin's Core Fragment suddenly starts glowing.
The other six fragments react from somewhere across the city.
For a brief moment, seven points of light appear in the night sky.
Eijin looks upward.
He realizes the fragments are calling to one another.
The masked figure smiles.
"The first fragment has awakened."
The screen cuts to black.
