598 Words
Eijin stands alone at the training ground, staring at the strange glowing bubble floating above his hand. Before he can understand what happened, the bubble disappears. Eijin looks around. Someone is watching him. A shadow moves across a nearby rooftop. Eijin immediately creates several bubbles and runs after the figure. The mysterious person disappears into the darkness. --- THE INVESTIGATION The following morning, Eijin begins investigating the symbol he discovered in his house. He visits an old library and searches through records about supernatural organizations. After hours of searching, he finds a damaged document containing the same symbol. It mentions a group called The Black Order. According to the document, the organization consists of highly trained assassins who operate secretly across the world. But one sentence catches Eijin's attention: "The Black Order does not kill randomly. Every target is connected to the Core." Eijin has no idea what the Core is. Before he can investigate further, the document is suddenly taken from his hands. A young man is standing behind him. His name is Kairo. Kairo tells Eijin that he should stop searching for the Black Order. Eijin refuses. Kairo warns him that people who search for the organization usually disappear. Eijin asks: "Did you know my family?" Kairo doesn't answer. Instead, he walks away. --- THE FIRST ATTACK That evening, Eijin is walking home when several masked assassins surround him. They are Black Order members. Their leader tells Eijin that he has become a problem. Eijin creates bubbles around himself. The assassins attack. At first, Eijin struggles to defend himself. His Bubble Art seems useless against multiple opponents. Then he remembers his experiment from the previous night. He concentrates. A tiny bubble forms between his fingers. He launches it. BOOM! The compressed bubble knocks one of the assassins backward. Eijin realizes he can use small bubbles as powerful projectiles. He creates several more. For the first time, he fights back successfully. But the Black Order leader is far stronger. He moves behind Eijin and prepares to strike. Suddenly— CLANG! A blade blocks the attack. Kairo has arrived. --- KAIRO VS. THE BLACK ORDER Kairo fights the assassins with incredible speed. Eijin watches in shock. Kairo defeats them without killing them. The leader retreats, warning Eijin: "The Order knows your name now, Godoin." After the assassins disappear, Eijin confronts Kairo. He demands to know why Kairo saved him. Kairo finally tells him: "Because your family wasn't killed for what they did." Eijin asks what he means. Kairo looks at him seriously. "They were killed for what they knew." Before Eijin can ask another question, Kairo walks away. Eijin follows him. Kairo finally stops. He tells Eijin that the Black Order is only one part of a much larger hidden conflict. There are people searching for something called the Core. And Eijin's family was protecting information about it. Kairo gives Eijin a choice: Continue searching alone and eventually be killed... Or learn how to survive. Eijin accepts. --- THE FINAL SCENE Kairo takes Eijin to an abandoned underground training facility. Several other young fighters are already there. They stare at Eijin. One of them laughs when Kairo introduces him. "That's the kid with the Bubble Art?" Eijin says nothing. Kairo looks at the group. "Don't underestimate him." The scene cuts to a dark room. A Black Order member kneels before a mysterious figure. "We found the Godoin boy." The figure slowly opens his eyes. "Then the search for the Core begins again." A black symbol appears on the wall.
