Episode 4: THE FIRST MISSION

This episode opens with Eijin training alone inside the underground headquarters.
He repeatedly creates tiny bubbles and launches them at targets.
POP. POP. POP.
Each bubble leaves a small impact on the target.
Eijin is improving, but he still can't control the incredible pressure he created during his previous battle.
Kairo watches from a distance.
"You're trying too hard to make your Art powerful."
Eijin turns around.
"Then what should I do?"
Kairo responds:
"Learn to control it."

THE MISSION
Kairo gathers the squad.
They have received information that the Black Order is transporting a mysterious object to an abandoned research facility.
Their mission:
Enter the facility, retrieve the object, and leave before the enemy arrives.
Raven, Jax, Mira, Ren, and Eijin prepare for the operation.
Before leaving, Kairo gives Eijin one warning:
"Don't chase the enemy. Complete the mission."
Eijin agrees.

THE ABANDONED FACILITY
The squad reaches the facility at night.
The building has been abandoned for years.
Inside, they find broken equipment, destroyed laboratories, and strange symbols painted on the walls.
Mira discovers a hidden computer.
She activates it.
A recording appears.
A scientist is speaking.
"The Core responds only to certain bloodlines..."
The recording suddenly cuts out.
Eijin looks confused.
"What is the Core?"
Nobody knows.
Then they hear footsteps.
The squad hides.
Several Black Order soldiers enter the facility.
The mission has been compromised.

THE FIGHT
The Black Order soldiers attack.
Raven uses her shadows to confuse them.
Jax charges directly into the fight.
Mira traps several enemies.
Ren copies Raven's shadow ability for a short time.
Eijin stays back.
He watches the battlefield.
Instead of attacking randomly, he begins thinking.
He creates bubbles around the enemy's weapons.
The weapons become trapped.
Then he creates bubbles beneath Jax's feet.
Jax suddenly launches forward with incredible speed.
"HEY! WARN ME NEXT TIME!"
Eijin smiles.
For the first time, he is fighting as part of a team.

THE SECRET ROOM
After defeating the soldiers, the team discovers a hidden door.
Behind it is a small chamber.
In the center is a strange black container.
Eijin approaches it.
The container suddenly reacts to him.
It begins glowing.
Everyone steps back.
The container opens.
Inside is a small crystal.
The moment Eijin touches it, he sees a vision.
He sees his father.
His father is standing inside a strange laboratory.
Someone is attacking him.
Eijin tries to reach him.
Then his father turns toward him.
"Eijin... never let them find the Core."
The vision disappears.
Eijin drops the crystal.

THE TRUE TARGET
Kairo arrives and sees the crystal.
His expression changes.
"Where did you find this?"
Eijin explains.
Kairo realizes the Black Order wasn't transporting the object.
They were protecting it.
The squad has accidentally discovered something extremely important.
The crystal is a Core Fragment.
And Eijin's family was apparently connected to it.
Before they can investigate further—
BOOM!
The entire building shakes.
Veyron appears at the entrance.
He looks directly at Eijin.
"Give me the fragment."
Eijin refuses.
Veyron takes off his mask.
"Then I'll take it from you."

THE ESCAPE
Kairo orders everyone to retreat.
The squad runs through the collapsing facility.
Eijin holds the Core Fragment.
Veyron follows them.
Eijin turns around.
He creates dozens of tiny bubbles.
Veyron destroys most of them.
But one bubble reaches the ceiling.
Eijin smiles.
The bubble bursts.
The ceiling collapses between them.
The squad escapes.
Veyron stands beneath the rubble.
He looks at the direction Eijin escaped.
"He's learning."

FINAL SCENE
Back at headquarters, Kairo places the Core Fragment on a table.
The fragment begins glowing again.
A symbol appears on its surface.
It is identical to the symbol Eijin saw in his father's laboratory.
Kairo looks at Eijin.
"Your family wasn't protecting the Core."
Eijin looks confused.
Kairo continues:
"They were hiding it."
The screen cuts to black.
