Chapter 2Two hours later, a meeting on the books that has nothing to do with him, and the food arrives. Seth bundles it in the car and drives two whole blocks to the station. There’s just too much food to do otherwise. As soon as Seth gets out of the car, Connor bounds to him. Though he’s as human as they come, Connor’s disturbingly similar to a golden retriever with one significant difference: his hulking frame makes Seth feel weedy.
