Avery’s P.O.V.
“Why did you tell him, Dad? You know how protective he is towards me. Do you think that he will let me donate my bone marrow again?” I asked Mr. Hawkins while angrily glaring at him.
“I don’t have any choice but to tell them, Avery. You know about my condition very well. Dave is the right person with whom I can entrust both of my girls. You are his baby sister, Avery. He has every right to know everything about you, honey.” He replied to me in a calm tone, and I groaned aloud this time.
I was in his room as we had shifted him in our home too. His health was not in the good condition, and I didn’t want to leave him alone. I was still shocked that he told Dave everything. I knew my brother well. But I couldn’t deny this fact that Dave was the best person to protect Avery.
