“What did you receive a while ago, Dave?” Roman, Violet’s father, asked Dave in a calm tone. He took a deep breath and tilted his head lightly. “One of the investigators that I hired to investigate this case sent me a document related to Violet’s health state. This is the statement that someone is going to use against Violet, proving her to be Avery, not Violet” He answered him in a calm tone, but I could say that he was suspicious now.
Roman looked at me and we exchanged a look. “What did I miss, Dad?” Dave asked him in the same tone, but his gaze was now hostile towards his own father. I couldn’t blame him for this though. His love for Violet was not brotherly but fatherly.
“I think we should tell him now.” I said to Roman in a calm tone. Sooner or later, he would know
