I stayed in my room in the castle and the boys came and went as they were called. It’s only been two days, but they’re getting along so far, so I was becoming somewhat hopeful. There was no news from Necros on the fate of my sisters and my family. The silence was becoming unbearable, but I knew if a war started I would hear about it. The woods are what separate the wolves from the dragons, but dragonfire spreads quickly and consumes everything. The smoke alone would be visible for miles, a much faster warning than any messenger.
