    Drakania     I was walking back down the stairs and ran into Nivian, whose head was in a book. We were both taken off guard, and Nivian stumbled backwards. I grabbed her arm just before she tumbled to the first floor.     “Careful,” I said, gripping the meat of her bicep tightly. She looked like I caught her off guard.     “Thank you, Drakania,” she smiled when she realized it was me.      “I would have thought you were helping everyone get ready.” Her smile turned to a frown, gripping her book tightly.     “Oh, I totally forgot,” she mumbled.     I couldn’t hide my laughter. “You forgot your own brother’s Alpha ceremony?
