Gideon     I knew that by taking her to the fight I was only enabling her, but I knew Drakania was determined to get out, regardless of my protests. She would have tried to get out on her own either way. I could feel her weak fingers tightly gripping Fin’s fur, and we ran as fast as he could without her falling off. Fin focused on running while I, of course, was trying to focus on the fight we were getting into, trying to think about what we were running into. Fin was definitely not as strong as some of the other wolves, but our walker magic let our fur sort of melt into the forest around us, making us much harder to see.      We need to keep her safe.
