Drakania Just holding the blade I could feel a sharp sting spreading through my veins. I knew Gideon had reached me and entered the dragon plane when the blade began to glow. It was terrifying, trying to hold all of this power and control it. I felt eerily similar to when I was trying to save Tide. “I will not lose control,” I hissed to myself between chants. I could hear Ember screaming behind me, laughing with maniacal intentions. Like it was a game to her. The whelps around me were cheering her on, shaking their fists in the air. Even though I knew it was merely minutes, it felt like hours, standing there trying to keep this gate open for Gideon to sever the connection between the northern dragon and her monster. Slowly the power drained from me, my arms growing heavy like the ground
