26 Grand Lodge of England, 2.34am Morgan had learned the skill of silent waiting without sleeping in the military. Nevertheless, lying in the dark regulating her breathing for hours had brought her to the brink of exhaustion. Sebastian had told her that the night shift consisted of low-level security guards, but Morgan had still wanted to wait until after 2am when the guards in the atrium would be sleepy and relaxed.
