Wrynn has decided that she will take back what was taken from her!
Since Raymie was heartless to her, she has no obligation to be kind to him!
After making up her mind, she dusted herself off the ground and walked over to Zandon's office where he was, sitting in front of his desk with the laptop in front of him.
“I need to go back and get the evidence on my enemies.” Originally, she only needed to receive the video on her phone, but her previous phone was smashed by Raymie, and she had no evidence in her new phone.
“Go tomorrow,” Zandon said as he placed the computer that was on the desk in his lap.
“Go and prepare dinner.”
“What?” Wrynn was stunned, not understanding what Zandon meant.
“Go and cook,” Zandon patiently repeated, “I'm hungry.”
It was getting dark and if truly he had to eat, then she had to be fast about it, since she hates cooking at night. All this was sure to the fact that as of that moment, he was her savior and the only one who can help her.
Wrynn took a deep breath, turned around and walked towards the kitchen.
She had injuries on her, and she felt extremely uncomfortable after what she did with Zadon in his car. But then, she didn't intend to show him how weak she was, especially since he had told her about him not having a likeness for weak ladies.
To get his help to the maximum, then she ought to do as he asked.
The ingredients in the refrigerator were not much, but Wrynn estimated that stir-frying two dishes and making a soup would be enough.
Although Wrynn didn't cook often before, she had been practicing her culinary skills since she was young, so it didn't take long before Zandon smelled the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen which made him pause from typing, raising his head to glance at the direction of the kitchen.
Wrynn's busy shadow in the kitchen was reflected on the glass door, and her slim and slender figure was well outlined.
Zandon narrowed his eyes, put down the computer, and got up to walk towards the kitchen.
When the door behind Wrynn was opened, she had just scooped up the first dish from the pot. Hearing the screech of the door, she turned around to see that it was Zadon who stood watching her from the door with his hands folded on his chest.
“The dish is almost ready, just wait a little longer.”
Zandon only stared at her.
“Do you need my help with anything?”
“No…” Wrynn subconsciously wanted to refuse. She was very skilled in the kitchen and didn't need Zandon's help. But after seeing his expression, she realized that his offer of help wasn't about the cooking, but about the false accusations against her.
Of course, the matter at hand isn't something she could solve on her own. To be honest with herself, she truly requires his help.
But even so, she believes it was better to handle issues on her own, as she didn't want to drag him into her problems.
“Thank you, but there's no need for that. You've helped me a lot before now, so I guess it's time for me to handle my mess on my own.
“Aren't you worried about the impact? You think this is something you could do on your own?” Zandon asked.
“I know it would be hard, but so what? Like you said, I can take back what I have lost and regain my reputation. I want to do all that on my own.” Wrynn replied.
Everything she had now been earned from scratch. Nothing could be worse than those times she struggled to get to where she was before fate decided to play her dirty.
Hearing her answer, a slight smile appeared on the corner of Zandon's lips, and there was a hint of admiration in his eyes.
“You learn fast, I must say you're one smart lady.”
“It's smoky here, so you better go outside.” Wrynn waved him away with the back of her hand and turned back to continue cooking.
Zandon actually didn't like the smell of smoke and hence he didn't protest but left just as she wanted him to.

Wrynn was in the bathroom, trying to smoke, when she got a call from Qirat. She quickly clicked on the answer button and directed the phone to her ears.
“Wrynn, you wouldn't believe just how shameless your worker and your husband are. Yukiye not only slept with your man, but also claimed your works as hers!” Qirat Clark's voice was loud and sounded furious.
“I will go back tomorrow to collect evidence, do you want to come with me?” Compared to Qirat, Wrynn seemed much calmer.
“Of course, I called to tell you about this.” Qirat said, “But… are you okay? Why do you sound so calm?”
“What else can I be stimulated by?” Wrynn Vitality in a self-deprecating tone.
“Anyway, I've already decided to divorce. Not only do I have to file for a divorce, but I need to show those ingrates that they did wrong for messing with me. This was the worst decision they've made in their entire existence!”
"Alright, I will have my colleagues help gather evidence for us. Moreover, for the divorce, you can rest assured about the divorce case, I will make sure Raymie loses everything!”
This warmed Wrynn's heart.
“Thank you, Qirat . If it weren't for you, I really wouldn't know what to do.”
“Enough with the politeness. Rest well, and I will pick you up from the hospital tomorrow morning.”
“Uhm, about that…” Wrynn has totally forgotten that she had not told Qirat that she had been discharged.
“I have already been discharged. Tomorrow, I will take a taxi directly to the Biting Residential Area.”
“You've been discharged? Where are you staying now? Why didn't you tell me when you were discharged? Your injuries haven't healed yet.” Qirat bombarded her with so many questions and the sign of worry was evident in her voice.
“I… I'm staying at a friend's house. Don't worry about my injuries, they're not that serious.”
“Friend's house? Which friend? Besides me, what other friends do you have?” Qirat Clark kept talking non-stop, suddenly realizing something and hence she stopped and asked in astonishment, “Wait, you… aren't you at Zandon's house, are you?”
Caught off guard by such a direct question, Wrynn didn't know how to respond.
“Don't ask so many questions, just meet me at the neighborhood entrance tomorrow morning by 8: AM.”
With that, Wrynn hung up the phone, turned around, opened the bathroom door, only to see Zandon standing by the door in a robe, staring at her with a deep gaze.
Wrynn instantly trembled that very instant.
“W…when did you get here?” She stammered.
“I didn't hear your conversation, if that's what you're asking.”
Zandon glanced at her with a look of ridicule, and when his gaze fell on the cigarette between her fingertips, he frowned deeply.
“Didn't the doctor tell you to quit smoking? Why are you smoking again?”
Wrynn quickly put the cigarette out, turned around, walked into the restroom, threw it into the toilet, and flushed it away. Her movements were swift and decisive, leaving Zandon somewhat speechless.
“You've eaten, and I've cleaned up the kitchen. I'm leaving now,” Wrynn uttered as she came out of the restroom.
Zandon furrowed his brow, “Where are you going?”
“To a hotel,” she replied smartly, walking away.
This made Zadon a little furious.
“What happened to my home?” This made her pause and turn around.
Was he truly asking her that? Wrynn bit her lip, “I have cleanliness issues. I don't want to stay where other women have slept.”
Zandon scoffed at her statement.
“You're neurotic. Why don't you just say that men who have been with other women are dirty?”
Wrynn Vitality remained silent, but her dark and beautiful eyes seemed to speak to him.
This woman was quite a stubborn one, and there's no way he'll win over her if he continues to let her act on her own will. He instantly walked up to her, circled his hand around her waist and pulled her into his chest.
“How dare you call my home dirty?”
