That Day He Lost Her

CHAPTER 6

I was humming while eating the mangoes Blake got for me.

It’s so sweet! Uh how I love fresh mangoes.

After we finished our business earlier. Blake and I found a small Bahay Kubo and decided to stay there for a while.

I was really amazed at him when he expertly climbed that tree. I never expected him to do that for me. Because of that I fell for him even more.

Oh this man! He never fails to impress me

"I didn't know you know how to climb a tree?"

Come on I'm so curious

" Dad tought me how. " Now sadness is evident in his voice.

Stupid Asteria!

Wait what? I didn't know

Just for once stop ruining the moment.

"I'm sorry about your dad Blake"

"It's okay" even though he said he's okay I can still feel how it affects him.

We got silent for a few moments.

“This place is so peaceful” I looked at Blake after he said those words. He is closing his eyes while his head slightly looking upwards. Savoring the fresh air. Now I can’t stop looking at him. His hair is messy because of the wind and there are small sweats around his neck probably because of what he did a while ago.

Well even though I wiped some of his sweat.

He looked like a model from a magazine.

“I totally agree with you. You know what? Why don’t we live here after we get married?”

I look at him with a smile on my face. that’s one of my biggest dreams. After I finish school I want to manage our business while building a family here with Blake.

“That’s a great idea princess” His voice is very low that I can’t hear the other words he said. He look at me and I can see a very familiar emotion in his eyes. He looked like he wants to say something.

I was about to ask him when my phone beeped.

Oh it's dad. I almost forgot about him!

He's looking for us now.

I looked at Blake who's now looking at me.

"It's dad he is looking for us"

I stood up from where I was sitting and offered my hand to him.

" Let's go?" He took my hand and we go out of the hut together.

While we were walking a very brilliant Idea flashed through my mind.

Oh I'm such a genius!

I quickly texted Rafa about my plan so he can prepare for it.

"Dad!" I waved at dad while still holding Blake's hand.

We are now at the exit of the plantation.

"As much as I want to stay here for a bit longer amigo but where are still getting ready to go back to Cebu tomorrow. "

Oh right we're going home tomorrow.

"It's okay amigo, Dani and I we'll just visit you sometime"

He then looked at Blake and down to our enterwined hands.

" Be careful Asteria " he said meaningfully.

I didn't mind it though. After we said our farewell we quickly head towards our resort.

It's almost sunset when we arrived at our resort and I quickly went to my room to change.

I wore a white maxi dress and I just let my natural hair fall down.

I took the little box on my drawer and then went to Blake's room.

I knock on his door and he was surprised when he opened it.

Oh of course Asteria he is wondering why you're knocking!

" Uh can you come with me?"

God what's wrong with my voice! I sounds so shy!

"Where? " I noticed a grin in his lips.

Oh he's making fun of me.

I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed his hand.

"Come on just follow me" I heard him chuckle that made my heart flutter.

When we arrived at the sun loungers I decided to make my plans.

"Close your eyes Blake"

" What are you planning Ria?" He squinted his eyes at me as if I was planning to kill him.

Well don't worry love I'll only kill you with too much love.

Ew Asteria ! So cringe

"Come on Blake close your eyes" I rolled my eyes at him.

he closed his eyes and I guided him to where we are headed.

I was also amazed when I saw the place. I should tell dad to increase Rafa's Salary.

This is my favorite place of this resort. It is near the sea where you can clearly see the sunset and the shiny stars after.

It is now filled with beautiful lighting and a table for two that is field with sea foods.

This place turned more romantic!

"Open your eyes Blake."

He opened his eyes and I can tell that his in awe.

The sun sets at the moment he opened his eyes.

His eyes is pinned to the scenery in front of us but my eyes is pinned to this man who owns my heart.

"You did this for me?"

I nodded with a wide smile. This is my first plan to make you fall for me love. I hope this will work.
