Chapter Nine Alexa stood at the winery door, contemplating whether to enter or continue her walk. “You holding up okay?” Bo stood close behind her, and at the sound of his voice, she jumped then quickly turned around. “Where did you come from?” She looked flustered and cross. “Sorry, didn’t mean to startle you. You okay?” The night before, she’d heard the welcome sound of his music rising through the warm night air. This made being mad at Bo difficult. He smelled of dust, earth, grapes and warm fresh breezes. His boots creaked, and his jeans rustled.
