Made a move

Raya. After our run and he walks me home, he doesn’t push his luck and try to stay. I am greatful for that. The moment I walk in, Rose ambushes me. “How was it? Did you have fun? Did you find any nice spots? Was he nice?” she stares at me in glee and I drop down next to her on the couch. “Ok. Didn’t suck. Yeah. I guess.” “will you do it again?” “come on. Why would he want to subject himself to me again.” I give a huff and jump up, fleeing up the stairs to escape from any more questions. However, we did do it again. And again. Carla let us know that we weren’t needed for now so we could just take some time to adjust to our new home. I think Henry's mum is using her Luna contacts to help out her son. I can’t be angry though. Its not surprising to me and I am also enjoying his company, no matter how much I want to deny it. He drops by every day, bring little gifts for Rose and I or just to talk or run. Seeing Rose gain confidence and becoming comfortable in his presence warms my heart. She doesn’t flinch when he sits down near her and he introduced her to the pack’s library. He walks her over there and brings her back later like a guard wolf. A month passes in a blink of an eye and I have been experiencing feelings that I have trouble squashing down. The mate bond keeps pulling at me. The way he looks at me. I have tried bringing up doing the full rejection ceremony so it will stop and he can try to find his second chance mate, but he bolts like a jackrabbit once he hears me start talking about it. Henry Something feels different. I don’t know what it is but I can feel it in the air. Raya normally runs around and hunts but today.... It’s different. Raya I feel the bond pulling me. It’s stronger and stronger and today.... I don’t know if I can resist. My mind keeps replaying the scene of him stripping his clothes off before he transformed. The arch of his back. The way his muscles pulled and flexed. The way the dappled sunlight through the trees hit his skin enhancing his flesh and making my body tingle. I can feel my Wolf burn with me. She is having more trouble than I am holding back. We reach a small pool of crystal clear water surrounded by moss and shrubs of various shades of green. The Sundays filter through the canopy making everything look hazy and magical. I glance over at him and see his tongue lapping at the water and my own mouth turns dry. As if sensing our attention, his own wolf turns and looks up at me and my Wolf runs at him. He just stands there as she leaps and crashes down on him, pinning him to ground. I watch as my wolf nuzzles him with her snout and shows her growing affection and attraction. He transforms and my paws feel his soft skin and my nose smells his delicious scent. The dam breaks and I change. The moment my human form is complete I lean forward and press my lips again his. He freezes before wrapping his arms around me. Stroking my back and cradling my cheek. I feel his tongue brush against my lips seeking entry before my own dips into his mouth. My fingers grasp at his hair, holding him in place before running down the curves and dimples of his chest. Following every hollow that separates his abs. My entire body is tingling and feels hot. He groans under my frantic touch and that sound breaks me out of my stupor. I pull away and jump up. My naked body bare before his gaze. My own eyes greedily taking in the view of his own. I mindlessly take a step forward before changing back into my Wolf and bolting. I run fast and don’t eve stop to grab my clothes. I just run straight to the cabin, transforming just before I hit the door and sweeping it open. I shut the door behind me and go straight to my room, my bed and hide under the covers like a scared child. What have I done?.... What have I done?.....What have I done? Oh god oh god oh god. My minds whirls in a panic that only torments me more when I hear a knock on the door and Henry calling my name. Minutes pass before he finally stops. He tells me he left my clothes at the door and walks away. A sigh of relief along with a pang of disappointment wrestle inside me, so I do the only thing I can think of. I ignore it all and have a nap. Rose I like Henry. I like the way Raya is with him. She always denies it, but I can tell that he is working his way into her heart. When he is around, she has a softness and warmth that she only shows me. Something that disappeared the night her family died is coming back. He treats me well. The first time he brought me to the library, I was a panicking mess. I could smell so many wolves.... but didn’t see any. Later I realised that he must have arranged it so they would all be out of sight while we went past. The moment I entered through the doors and found myself surrounded by books, I felt peaceful. I found myself spending almost every day there, pouring through the pages and discovering incredible things. World's opened up to me. I want to stay. The tiny hope that we had found a new home has started to burn inside me, like the flame of a candle. I heard a knock on there door and my insides clenched. “Rose, it’s Henry.” I frowned. He was supposed to still be on his run with Raya. They should have been out for another few hours..... I open the door and see a ruffled and confused Henry staring back at me. He walks in and starts pacing. “Henry. Can you stop, your going to make me dizzy. What happened?” He turns to me and a smile breaks out on his face. “She kissed me.” his face drops “then she ran away". I slowly nod. I had been waiting for one of them to make a move and it wasn’t surprising that she would freak out afterwards. He walks me back to the cabin and I see him hovering at the door, glancing around , trying to catch a glimpse of her. I just smile, shake my head and close the door. “Raya. I’m back. Do you have something you want to tell me?” I hear a thump followed by frantic footsteps as she runs down the stairs. “I did a thing. I....I...I.... and.... and.....” My hearts bursts at the adorable stuttering mess she has turned into. She has always been so composed and in control that I wish I could take a photo of the way she is now. I reach out, take her hand and pull her to the couch. We sit down and she tells me everything that happened, the words falling out of her mouth in an endless torrent that I have to keep a sharp focus on so I don’t miss anything. Everything pours out of her and I can tell she still hasn’t realised how much Henry means to her. She is half way to accepting him as her mate. I hug her. I just cant stop myself. I feel tears prickling at the back of my eyes and blink furiously to keep them at bay. We have found our new home. I just need to convince her of that.
