Celeste's POV
Opening my eyes, in my own bed I felt completely rested. A small purr escaped me as I pulled the duvet up to my chin and snuggled myself into the covers. Just a few minutes longer.
The memories of yesterday came back to me, I had called Liam, asking for some company. He had been there near instantly and I had the feeling Liam had needed my company as much as I desired his. Even though he hadn't mentioned why, I could sense it.
Had we? A sudden realisation hit me, and as I turned to face the empty side of the bed I was relieved to see it was untouched. No one had slept there during the night. Perhaps he had left after I had taken myself to bed.
