Liam's POV
I was in that awkward situation where I had become stuck between a couples argument. We needed to leave, urgently. But Amara was dead set on Julian staying. She was scary when she was angry, I had never seen anyone so fiery and terrifying when rubbed up the wrong way.
"Celeste is dead, Julian!" Amara screamed, tears fell from her eyes as she sobbed. I imagine so many emotions filling her head right now. Despite the rift between them, I knew Amara had loved Celeste. They had been best friends for so long.
I watched as Amara's face twisted with pain. I had been upstairs to grab her robe, which she now hugged tightly around herself. It seemed as though Julian refused to even touch her now.
