A Rogue’s Unconditional Love

Chapter Three

Samantha's Point of View

As soon as I left Alpha Jenson's room I felt like I could breathe again. I don't know what it is about that man, but it's like I am drawn to him like a magnet. It felt as though his blue eyes could see right threw me to my soul. It felt as if we were one in that moment. Call me crazy, but something began to stir in the back of my mind, and it gave me chills.

Not paying attention to where I was going I accidentally ran into Beta Ian. "Woah Samantha, I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going."

I began to apologize profusely, "I am so sorry, Beta Ian! Please forgive me! I beg of you please don't tell Alpha Derek. I will surely be thrown in the dungeon if-" I cut myself off. My eyes begin to widen as I realize what I just said. Frozen I begin to slowly look up at Beta Ian as I can feel anger rolling off of him in waves.

As he lets out a low menacing growl he asks me what I just say. I flinch and shake my head because I am so scared to say anything else. When he hears me whimpering and looks at me to see I'm shaking he calms down some. "I'm so sorry Samantha. I didn't mean to be so rude and growl at you. I let my anger get the best of me. Now please, repeat what you just said. What would he do to you if I told him."

I slightly look up at him; too afraid to look into his eyes, "I said he would punish me and put me in the dungeons" I reply with a shaky voice. That seemed to really make him mad. His face and neck turned to the color of atomato. I could literally feel the anger rolling off of him. I saw his eyes glaze over. "He must be mind-linking someone. Oh Goddess please don't let Alpha Derek know!" When he came to he forced a smile onto his face and told me to follow him "Please don't take me to Alphaa Derek! I promise I'll do whatever you want, but please don't take me back there!" I begged him.

"Shhhhh it's okay. I promise you that I will make sure you never go back to that retched place ever again." He said with a smile. I begin to wonder how he could promise such a thing when he is only here a few days with Alpha Jenson. I just nodded my head with a sad smile and said yes sir just to make sure I didn't get an even worse punishment than what I will be facing already."If you don't mind my asking, where are we headed to Beta Ian?"

"We are going to Alpha Jenson's room. We are going to put a stop to this once and for all." My eyebrows shot up to my hair line as my eyes grew to the size of snow balls.

"No please don't! I will have an even worse punishment if Alphaa Derek find out that more than one person from a different pack finds out. Let alone an Alpha and Beta! He will surely have my head." I begged him as I started to cry.

He began to knock on his Alpha's door. As he answers the door he posts my tear stained face, puffy eyes, runny nose and hears my hiccups. His eyes, as well as Ian's glaze over. "Yay another minlink I won't be able to hear." Jenson instantly pulls me into his arms as he whispers sweet nothings to me as he rubs my arms and kisses the top of my head. I'm frozen in place because I have no Idea what to do. I've never been hugged by anyone other than Lillian. I don't even remember if my mom, or dad, ever had. It was very calming and relaxing. I didn't even realize that we were sitting on the bed until he asked me what happened. I looked at his eyes, and that was when I realized that I was in his lap,. I hurriedly jumped off, and scurried away. The look on his face showed how hurt he was, but he masked it just as soon as it popped up; making me wonder if my eyes were playing tricks on me. Either way I began to tell him what had happened to me.

As I told him the story, I could see the anger building inside of him; moving up to full on rage. I was beginning to get frightened all over again. When he saw the scared look on my face his face instantly softened, calming me down some. "I'm sorry my little wolf. I don't mean to scare you, but I need to have a talk with Alpha Derek. This is just unacceptable. I won't allow you, or any other member of this pack, to go threw that ever again. He has no right to do this."

I begin to cry again begging him not to tell Alpha Derek. "sh sh sh little wolf. I promise that I won't bring any of that up, but I will get you out of this. You have my word. You, nor any other pack member, will EVER be treated like this again. Do you understand me?" he asked the last sentence in his alpha voice so I had no way to deny what he has said. "Stay in here and I will have one of my guards to bring the other maid up here to sit with you. Ian stay with them until I come back. Understood?"

"Yes Alpha!" Beta Ian said.

I just sat there with my hands in my lap twiddling my thumbs. All of a sudden I heard Lillian's voice. She kept asking where I was, if the guard knew who I was, etc. When they brought her into the room we both busted out in tears, running into each other, hugging. "Oh Goddess Samantha! I've been so worried about you! When I saw that you weren't in the kitchen I thought something really bad had happened to you!"

I shake my head no profusely saying "No! Alpha Jenson and Beta Ian have me in here for right now until he gets back from talking to Alpha Derek."

"Oh thank Goddess." She said. All of a sudden Lillian began smelling around. That's weird. What is she doing?

Just then Ian came out of the bathroom. He stopped and started looking around, mimicking Lillian. When their eyes met, in unison the said "Mate." Oh. Sh*t.
