Chapter One
“So, Tony, when are you and Josh getting married? You must be so excited that you can tie the knot right here at home now?”
“Ah, um, yes, yes we are.”
Fortunately Uncle Bob was half drunk and never noticed Tony’s lack of enthusiasm, or his lack of an answer to Uncle Bob’s question either. But Tony knew other people would be asking him and Josh the same question and they hadn’t ever discussed getting married. Why did the law have to be passed right before his sister Sharon’s wedding? Sure, it was a wonderful thing to have happened, and sure, heaps of his gay friends were longing to get married. But as for him, he wasn’t really ready for the whole festive scene that was happening for Sharon.
