Dante crossed the ballroom as guests stepped out of his way. Lucian looked at me, and I pressed his hand once before walking down the stairs. Dante stopped a few feet from us. Rainwater darkened the shoulders of his coat. "Sienna. I know everything now. Chloe. The baby." He forced the next words out. "I was wrong. I'll make it up to you. Whatever you want, I'll give it to you. Come with me." The last sentence sounded exactly as it had five years ago: an order he expected me to obey. I lowered one hand at my side.
