Day 16.
5:00 p.m.
Ryan:
I’m surprised at how quickly I was able to lose the Aberrations. I only had one follow me, but it was so easy to lose him. I’ve been driving around going to random places for about two hours now and no one has followed me so I feel like it is safe enough for me to head back to the apartment. When I get there I’m surprised that no one else is home.
I heat up a pizza in the oven, grab myself a soda, and relax on the couch with a movie when my phone rings. I groan in frustration- I’m sure it’s Tom or Jasper calling to check up on me or something.
I answer without looking at my phone and say in an exasperated tone, “Hello?”
A cheery voice responds, “Ryan, just the man I wanted to talk to!”
