Parker
I was stunned when I saw Skye here with Ryan, but I was so happy she was here. I showed her the room we had set up for her and I watched her waiting for her reaction and I felt my heart swell up when I saw the tears forming in her eyes as she asked me softly, “You did all of this for me?”
I nod yes in response and she turns around wrapping her arms tightly around my waist and said, “Thank you so much.”
I smile brightly, “You’re welcome, Skye.”
I hear a bark and Blaze comes running in which made Skye immediately jump up on the bed shrieking. I bite back a laugh as I kneel down to Blaze and pet him as I look at her and ask, “Are you afraid of dogs?”
She looks at me slightly panicked and then breathes out, “I’ve never really been around a dog before.”
