Day 23.
6:00 a.m.
Ryan:
I take Parker to work today. Jasper messaged me late last night asking if I could because he is unable to pick her up.
I don’t mind taking her, but she is oddly quiet during the drive. She looks out the window as we drive and seems very calm and at peace. I wonder what she will be doing today if she will be training kids how to use their powers or if she will be taking up Tom’s place.
I hear her sigh and I glance over at her and watch as she leans back in the seat with her eyes closed. Her eyebrows are slightly creased so I know she’s concentrating on something. I want to ask her if everything is ok, but I get the sense that she wants this to be a quiet and relaxing car ride.
