Day 18.
7:30 a.m.
Ryan:
Parker, Tom, Jasper, Emma, Travis, and I all pile into a big van and take off driving. Parker and Jasper are in the front seats, Emma and Travis sit in the second row, and Tom and I are in the last row.
I watch Parker carefully to see if she’s okay. She’s quiet answering any questions with one- or two-word answers.
After what feels like an hour we finally arrive to our location.
I recognize it immediately and I’m surprised no one told Parker and I that this is where we were going.
