Day 18
5:00 a.m.
Parker.
I’ve been up since 3 unable to sleep because of the events that will transpire later today.
I pace back and forth in my room because I don’t know what else to do; new thoughts are entering my mind every second making me feel overwhelmed and on edge. I rub my shoulders feeling really sore since I carry tension there.
Suddenly someone else’s hands begin to run my shoulders and I hear Ashton say, “Parker… you’re burning yourself out. How will you be able to fight like this? You need to get some rest while you still can.”
I turn towards him and let him hold me tight. He rubs his hand up and down my back then kisses my forehead and says, “Lie down.”
