Parker hasn’t been gone long when I hear her voice screaming for help in my head. I straighten my back alarmed by the sound and I turn towards Skye and she is already running in the direction of the woods. She must’ve gotten into Skye’s head as well. She must really be in trouble to do that because I know she would never do anything that would put Skye in danger.
I run after Skye as fast as I can and I have no clue if she even knows where she is going, but I know I need to protect her in case the Aberrations are out here. Which I’m sure they are I don’t know why else Parker would call for help. I try desperately to establish a link with her, but it’s not working and it terrifies me.
