The sound of her telling me "Yes!" was all I heard and it was bliss. I was with a woman whose company I enjoyed and it made me feel a certain level of accomplishment.
I hugged her tighter as I thought of all the ways that she was making me happier.
"Please don't break my bones, Kieran." she begged, still laughing, and that was when I realized that I was overwhelmed with emotions, even my wolf was feeling it too, because we both could not help being excited about being accepted by our mate.
I released the tight hold that I had on her and then I pulled out a chair and then I lifted Dawn and carried her in my arms and sat on the chair.
"Is this better?" I asked her.
" For now it is," she said, still laughing.
I bent and kissed her full on the lips and she kissed me back,
