I watched as Kieran spoke to Darius and once he ended the call, he smiled up at me and said,
“Let’s go, we have a lot of work to do, my Luna.”
I was not sure of what the work was, but whatever it was, I was excited about it. I nodded and got on the bike, then Kieran started in and rode off. On the way back he took another road, one that was faster because it was closer to the main house.
The whole ride, I watched the moon follow us and at a point I thought I heard someone speak, but I dismissed it thinking it was just the night breeze. I raised my hands and was about to let out a long howl but I choked and could not make out a sound.
